T-Shirt Terrorist’s range of tees is unconventional to say the least. They produce witty, pop culture spin-off fashion items, perfect for anyone looking to grab some attention. While they do not stock typical band t-shirts, they do have a few clever comic tees which feature some of the most famous names in music. Our favourite has to be the Queen comic tee, which depicts the iconic Freddie Mercury as the queen chess piece. Alternatively, go for their Rihanna – Nirvana mash-up t-shirt to really cause a scene. Big Blue started out as a pop up store at a flea market way back in 1986. Because of economic sanctions at the time fabrics were limited, so Big Blue started printing their own fabrics on South African made cottons using local craft techniques. They have stuck to this way of business to this day and now have 10 stores located in Joburg alone. Their music t-shirt range is limited, but it does cater to a wider range of music enthusiasts than most stores do. Hip hop fans will be glad to find a Tupac forever shirt, while reggae lovers are sure to be pleased with a Bob Marley custom quote tee.
